PROJECT "SAFE EURO 2012"

Poland and Ukraine will host European Football Championships in 2012 and as a result, the Polish National Association "Sober Driver" implements a project under the name "Safe EURO 2012".

The aim of the project is based on the experience of developing international measures to increase the level of security in the stadiums, for problems related to alcohol.

The result of the project is to release a report on the recommendations for the organizators of sporting events with an international dimension in 2011, for safety on football stadiums for the dangers associated with alcohol.

Sports clubs from various countries, Police departments, local authorities, journalists, sports and football federations have been invited to participate in the project.

Head of the project is Mr. Robert Lemański - who is an experienced educator in the area of alcohol prevention policy.
